Found the trail to be easier than Turtlehead except for the last .5-1 mile. Beautiful day. Not many other hikers. Started early so not much sun in our face on the way up. On the way down wind started to pick up and was a nice relief from the heat. We found this trail to be very easy to navigate once you find trail after parking in anthem park.
