The trailhead is a little tricky to find. We used the directions from the USFS web page, they were really good. The trail was challenging, but lots of fun and pretty clearly marked. Very rocky and pretty steep the whole way up. The view of Shasta from the top is stunning though. The bugs weren’t bad at all, except at the very peak… ????????‍♀️ We had a great time!
