Coordinated with Rose thanks to the forums here on Social Hiker and we conquered Cucamonga together! Started around 5:30 am (parking lot was filling up quickly already by then) and finished around 3 pm with decent breaks at the saddle and the summit. Was very busy on Sunday – with some bottlenecks at times. Chilly start in the canyon so bring layers. Once we took the turn after the saddle, we had full sun exposure but was still chilly with the wind. Warm on the descent. Loose gravel in parts but easy to navigate. Beautiful trail all around with alpine scenery, a waterfall, and the creek.
