Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Yesterday was definitely an adventure, to say the least! Our hike was scheduled for 4 a.m., and it was pitch dark and used headlamps. We started at 4:30. It took us over 7 hours to reach the peak. I was fun, but at the same time, torturous😆⛰️ There were beautiful runing streams and lakes. You did have to cross a few streams and about 6-7 snow patches, which we ended up using micro spikes for 3 of the patches. It was so worth it when we made it to the top! On the way back down, it was a lot faster, 4.5 hour and 18.5 miles later. I enjoyed our group hike yesterday!!! But it did seem never ending😆⛰️
