The trail conditions were visible. We started around 5:45am and it was great overcast until we started to head back down the trail. It got sunny and hot 50% of the time. The bugs were really annoying. Bug spray did not work at all. The views were impeccable. There were a few stops throughout the trails where we were able to pause and soak in the beautiful views of the mountain and city. Admittedly, this was my first hike in over 2 years after having my daughter and I didn’t really train so the time it took me to complete was a bit slower than I wanted to finish by. Will continue the training for the next 5 hikes.
