The are around Williams is beautiful, so we decided to camp near the trail head so we can get an early start in the morning.
We were the first car at the trailhead which is always nice to have a fresh trail to ourselves. Only downside is all the spiderwebs that are over the trail. I felt like I was always knocking them off me. The trail is well taken care of, but it is a steady incline all the way up. I am not sure of the elevation the aspen trees started to appear, but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen, very gorgeous looking trees. When we hit the service road near the top, we were surprised to find a patch of snow on the side of the road. Once we got to the top the views were just amazing! It is crazy how far you can see out. After a quick lunch of beef jerky we headed back down. The steady slope made it for a very easy walk all the way down. We stopped in town for a beer and burgers, nothing better after a good hike.
