We started this hike a little late at 9:30 am we had planned to take the tramp but the tickets were sold out. So we changed our plans and we went to take our hike permit at the ranger station at Idyllwild and we took the Marion Trailhead that is 14miles round trip. The trail is long and steeper but it worth it. It has nice views, spring waters were you can refill your bottles, it was one of the best views I’ve ever seen before it was windy but beautiful, on our way back we saw a amazing sunset that is an extra great bonus, but the only detail was that we had to hike 1 1/2 miles on the darkness which was more exciting and scared at the same time. It took us around 12 hours, taking our time enjoying the views, taking many pictures but still were planning to start earlier to our next peak.
