Friends still hiking 20 years later!

We started at 10:30 and there was only one other car in the parking lot. It was quite hot but a lot of the trail is shaded which was very welcome. The climb was very gradual with many switchbacks and we reached the top before we knew it (a bit over 1.5 hours walking time).  The bugs were a nuisance buzzing around us a lot of the time and two of us started to feel a bite but swatted the fly away in time.
