One of the best! I thoroughly enjoyed this easy-to-navigate and no bushwhacking required trail. The first roughly 2.6 miles comprised a decent ascent with a good amount of altitude gain. After ascending, you come to a very shady section of the hike with beautiful trees surrounding the trail creating a peaceful, zen-like ambiance.
The hike to the summit is fairly easy. Go take a look at the fire tower (but don’t climb on it). The views from that area are breathtakingly gorgeous. Then, once you reach the summit, you climb the ladder and ropes to the top. All I can say is WOW! You can see everything from the highest peak in San Diego County. I highly recommend!
