Hike with an obstacle course added in!

Perfect weather in the 50s with a breeze. Met a couple of forest workers starting to clear the downed trees on the trail of which there were many the first couple of miles which added to the exercise. Lots of wildflowers on the way especially at the top. Amazing views from the top where you felt you could reach out and touch the mountains. Did this hike with the challenge in 2020 and it was nice to see new undergrowth appearing. Tiny patches of snow in a couple of places. Only saw about 6 people so it was perfect to get away and enjoy the quiet. I got a little off trail the last 3/4 mile while climbing over trees but saw the forest workers again who kindly guided me back to the trail. Completed in about 3hrs 40 mins.
