I got to the trailhead of Humphreys Peak around 5:30 and there were already many cars there. The trail got even more busy as I headed down, but the last quarter of the trip up, there was definitely many people.
The trail is in great condition and easy to follow. Once you get past the saddle and start going up more rock, it’s easy to loose the trail a little bit, but it seems like many just create their own path.
The views at the saddle and at the top were beautiful! However, the bugs at the summit were HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, it was hard to enjoy as much due to the amount of bugs. But still a great final hike!
