Black Mountain or BUST

The Black Mountain Trail is part of the Rancho San Antonio Space Preserve which I have hiked before. Great trails and weather was bearable. It was challenging for me and my hiking partner since we hadn’t hike in awhile and the elevation was steady and kinda steep, but it was worth it because the animal encounters were GREAT! Deer, bunnies, lizards, birds, raptors, insects, wildflowers! Sunny but there was some good shade too. We were pretty tired after this hike. We got a little lost so the hike was longer than we expected (11.89 miles) and it took us about 3-3.5 hours but we pushed through!
