  • Since I’ve hiked up Bear several times before I thought I’d give myself more of a challenge and make it 3 peaks in a day! This loop trail was long and beautiful going through Massachusetts, NY, and CT.   Frissell didn’t have many views but the summit at Brace was gorgeous and lastly the summit at bear is always great on a clear day.  There were a couple ponds that formed from all the rain July brought to the northeast but nothing impassable and surprising enough there were hardly any bugs. GREAT HIKE!
