Long day. In my opinion, it’s imperative to leave before dark… There were too many people heading towards the summit when sun was in full affect, and as many of us know it is not an easy climb in or out. If you take elevation out of the equation this hike could be compared to many of the 14 hours that I’ve done as far as physical exertion. This is a good training ground for the SoCal six packs…
