Was pooped out from yesterday's hike up Hazard… So I didn't start early this a. m.

Started at 9:35 am and had the trail to myself as I did the last time I did it. Although about halfway up the heated mtn. I saw a runner heading down.

Was a hot, Long slodge to the summit. The best views in my opinion were when I turned around to see where I came from and saw the beautiful and very full  Lake Cachuma behind me. And again on the way down. I camp there several times each years so I  always peak up to broadcast while fishing or kayaking the lake. Thinking to myself “yeah I hiked that” again 😏

Glad to be done with this one. Was hoping to hit Gaviota tomorrow but my Tendonitis is not feeling too great after these two back to backers… I'm opting for a 3 tours of Hearst castle which I have always wanted to visit.

So no hiking for me tomorrow, after today. Was a great hike, painful on my foot but neat to see the water flowing pretty good near the camp we walk through.
