The route from West Village through the forest was pleasant as always with the added benefit of seeing the forms in place for the new Skyliner lift towers. There were three snow patches that needed to be crossed on the upper mountain. The snow was soft and easy to kick steps into but if you aren’t wearing solid footwear, you may be challenged. Great views from the summit as always!
