Beautiful solo day hike. The trail is in good condition and well marked, but very busy since it was the weekend. About half the trail is shaded so temps were great. The unshaded sections had a nice breeze, but I still drank 5 liters. Sun shirt and head protection are a must and the trail would have been too hot on the dog's paws so she stayed home. There were bugs, but they weren't so bad I had to break out the head net. The waterfalls on the lower sections are meditative and clean. Not many people were in the water, but I did stop on the last mile to cool off. Overall, this was a great hike and very beautiful views along the way up.
