Butterflies are always at the top

There always seem to be butterflies flitting and circling at the top of every peak. It’s a welcoming crew, and always makes me feel a little lighter after a climb up.

This time, one landed on a hiker in our group and hung out on her arm for awhile before heading off. While probably a salt lick to the butterfly, we took it as good fortune for us. And maybe it was… some of us were battling with knee and back issues prior, but after the hike we all seemed ok. Butterflies + foam rollers!
