Beautiful hike from the South Fork Trail to Dry Lake and Dry Lake to the Peak. Then, Dollar Lake Trail back to the South Fork Trail to finish up.

My hiking partner didn’t want to cross the third creek crossing so we went cross country to Dry Lake.  I got a chance to practice my navigation skills when I lost sight of her.  Surprisingly I ended up at Dry Lake before her.  It was my first chance to stop and take a few pictures.  Once we met up at the lake we continued on our way.  There was a planned cross country trek near the top to avoid the snowfield that covered the trail.  Absolutely loved the view at the top!  Then, we trekked down the Dollar Lake Trail to South Fork.  We saw a beautiful sunset while on the South Fork section right before finishing up with a flashlight and headlamp.
