Left Vivien Creek Trailhead on Friday evening and went up 3 miles to the halfway campsite by dusk.  Woke up and hit the trail around 9 am.  We had an amazing day and celebrated one of the friends 60th birthday at the peak with everyone at the peak singing to her.  Stayed a second night and packed out the next morning.  Friday night, the mosquitos made a feast of my face.  I had about 10 bites on my cheeks and forehead that swelled up.  The campsite was nice, but hikers who were starting out around midnight on Saturday morning to watch the sunrise didn't realize people were actually camping there.  About every hour a group would come through the trail talking very loudly to each other and waking up all the campers.  Other than that, it was an amazing weekend with friends.  Would definitely do this one again, but maybe come from another trailhead.
