I’m not even going to lie almost gave up more than half way! But my friends motivating and cheering me on I wouldn’t have done it without them! Forever grateful and thankful for them! We started around 1am and weather wasn’t chilly or warm just about right. Passing thru the creeks or rivers the water was pretty chilly but going up the first 2 miles was a little intense wasn’t expecting the beginning to start off like that. Definitely wasn’t a fan of the first switchbacks they’re brutal! Especially if you haven’t been hiking or are a beginner this is not for you! The last little switch backs just felt like forever and this is where I almost gave up but I end up summiting alone. (My friends were all up there already) Greatest feeling just being up there and accomplishing this beast! (Also before I do forget it was freezing up there! Need a windbreaker!) And also feeling overwhelmed, happy and accomplished! This was my last peak for my challenge and forever grateful for this experience! Had to go big! And sure was a big one! I will continue finishing the rest of the peaks! Thank you to HAFA (hikingadventuresforall ) for getting me into this challenge! Can’t wait for the next one! See you all on the top! Happy trailing! 🙂
