Beautiful sunny day for the hike – not too warm

The Pumpelly trail is pretty quiet – even on a holiday weekend. Most people were using the shorter routes up – but we did like this trail. It has quite varied terrain, from a stroll through the trees to scrambling up steep rocky sections. Views are nice once you get out of the trees and from the top. The top did have quite a few other people up there (but it was a holiday weekend).
