What a gorgeous day for a hike! (My 6th!!). Rain the night before left the air clear and beautiful. Drove up from the east valley and got on the trail around 8:30. The trailhead wasn’t immediately obvious but once we found it the trail was easy to follow and well maintained.
it took close to 3 hours to get to the summit but we took our time and stopped a few times. There were a couple dozen other people out enjoying the trail .
Views from the summit were really clear. It took about an hour and a half to get back to the car. Temps were getting warm but not too bad with some tree coverage the last mile or so.
