Amazing hike up to Volcán Mountain summit. I tried to take the Five Oaks Trail on the way up, met a rattler friend and had to double back to the main trail. It made it a mile longer, but still worth it. Main trail is nice and wide, watch out for poison oak on the Five Oaks Trail. Loved the sign posts showing the nearby mountains and the historical outpost. Summit views are amazing and some cute benches at the top. You have to get a pic with the cute sign, watch for the small trail going up the last little hill at the top. A little buggy right now made me wish I wore spray or a net some of the time. Bathrooms at the entrance are a nice touch for those coming out from the city.
