Best Day Ever

My favorite hike yet! We went with a group to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Hurricane Hilary was expected to arrive later that afternoon so we got an early start to beat the storm. It was incredible to watch the clouds rolling in as we hiked. This trail was quick and easy and a great trail to train for some of the longer hikes. At the top, we met a lot of people and they joined us in a champagne toast for my girlfriend and the joy and fun we had with strangers reminded me why I love this hiking community so much. Such a beautiful, quick 8 mile trek. Will definitely be back for Baden-Powell again.
