Sunol-Ohlone Wilderness Park to Mission Peak

Now that the weather has started cooling off I’m going to finish my 6 peak challenge by hiking up to Mission Peak. From the trail head I took it was 5 miles up then 5 miles back down. Great weather with sunshine, nice breeze to keep the temps down, but was a little smokey. Had to avoid some poison oak on the trail part but most was a service road that was either gravel or powdered dirt. Sad part was finally getting to the top an seeing someone had removed part of the monumental pole that has been there for around 30 years.
