Tom, Dick, and Harry
Also on this hike
A beautiful fall day to hike to Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain. We started at the Mirror Lake Trailhead. The trail is very easy to follow to Mirror Lake as the lake is a popular destination for many. After passing the lake, the trail contours around a ridge while climbing slightly. There are sone rocky areas but nothing challenging. The first “summit” is a viewpoint that offered great views of Hood, Adams, St. Helens, and Rainier. The trail becomes a bit harder to follow as it continues along the ridge dropping below the ridge to the south to avoid cliffy areas. It seems that not as many hikers go to the summit opting instead for the earlier viewpoint. The summit has an interpretive sign and great views of Hood. We opted to make a loop out of the hike and followed the trail east then dropped down through the ski area back to the parking area.
