This site and others lead me to believe this would not be a great hike but I’m throwing the BS flag! This was an awesome hike!! Completely socked in as I started but punched through the clouds right at the summit and it was just gorgeous watching the clouds move around and open up vistas
Heads up on a work week road closure. You must come through the North gate.
Bring clothes, VERY cold and windy on top. Bring a spare battery for your phone, cold chews right through your %.
If you are using AllTrails, Ranger is strongly telling us not to finish last piece to communication tower. No trail with loose icy rocks.
