Lakes And A Cold Peak

Trail conditions could not be better, and intersections were marked. The weather, however, was cold and misty, with complete cloud cover. The first mile or two is very scenic, with beautiful meadows, boardwalks, and clear lakes. The next two is a slog to the top which I’m sure is beautiful on a clear day. It’s easier to climb in the cold. Ski gloves would have made us feel better.
