The road is open to just beyond the Vincent Gap parking lot. Note that my NAV was convinced the road is still closed, and kept trying to send me the wrong way. Be careful about this!
Anyway I guess the word is out because I have never seen so many people on this trail. I started in the dark, and returned about 10am to see a full parking lot. Passed many people on the trail throughout the morning. The weather was perfect and trail was in great condition – this is the most enjoyable hike in the series for me, as the trail is steep enough but not rutted/rocky like most others.
