It was a pretty day. A chilly start, but warmed up very quickly on the first 2-mile climb! Thankfully we brought our bug head nets… OMG… the bugs were horrible! So thick almost the entire way!!! Do NOT leave home without your headnet, just keep it in your daypack at all times.
It was really nice, not crowded at all. We saw maybe a total of 6 people the entire hike.
The surrounding areas are so green! It's beautiful!!!
