Took a leisurely start around 10:30am. Went up on the Azalea loop trail. Beautiful and shaded. Less than 2h to the top. Had a pleasant lunch at the summit, a bit protected from the wind. Took the fire road down and were back at campground in under 1h. Perfect weather, low 70’s at the campground and a cool wind keeping things pleasant. Not busy at all today.
