This hike was another reunion with 3H and 213 Hikers and a return to hiking from the Angelus Oaks Trailhead of the San Bernardino Peak Trail.  As I had just returned from the Eastern Sierra, I wasn't concerned about the altitude this time.  Parts of the trail had changed since the last time I saw it due to the fire that had closed San Bernardino. The loss of the manzanita fields was the biggest visible difference.  The weather though was nice and due to the altitude it wasn't too hot. During this hike I volunteered to slow down and assist a fellow hiker who was hiking San Bernardino Peak for the first time.  She was however determined to summit so we made it together up and came down together.
