San Jacinto backpacking in October

Summited both Jean peak and San Jacinto Peak on day 3 of a backpacking trip. We took the tram up and camped at Upper Chinquapin, and from the campsite it was only 5.8 miles round trip to both peaks and back. The little bit of bushwhacking on the ridge between the peaks was not bad at all. I got a surprise at the San Jacinto peak – a hidden treasure from Mountain Miniature! It was a cherry on top of a great hike. Shout-out to Mountain Miniature that makes great artisan memento for all hikers in SoCal!
