Broadcast Peak

I had to be in San Jose the following Tuesday for a week of meetings so I took advantage and left LA early with the goal of hitting the last four peaks. Almost made it. On day one I drove from LA to the trailhead for Broadcast Peak. I started late morning and worked my way up the trail running into friendly groups as I went. It was a nice hike in relatively cool weather until the last leg to the summit. It was a dirt and rock scramble up and less pleasant coming down. Once at the top I enjoyed the views. Nice little first hike on my trip north.
