Stunning Views at Brokeoff Mountain!

Stunning views the whole hike up Brokeoff Mountain! It’s a good steady climb yet not too strenuous. The early part of the hike you have great views of the peak, plus a panorama of other surrounding mountains. Once you turn the corner, there is another view where you can see for dozens of miles toward Cinder Cone and others. At the peak, the views are amazing, of course with Mt Kassel nearby, plus a sheer drop off at the peak itself. In early October it was somewhat busy, meeting about 40-50 other hikers along the way.

Bring your lunch to the summit since it’s a great flat top to hang out upon. Enjoy!
