Starting off at Marion Mountain campground, this hike was already at 6,000ft to begin with and I definitely felt it! Got winded quickly the first ~2.5mile but after that, the hike tapered off near the campground and it was a pleasant hike the rest of the way. Would definitely love to camp at the campground along the trail sometime! Views from the summit were amazing, seeing the wind turbine farm off the distance and some of the local cities in the surrounding area. It was super windy at the very peak so my group and I didn't stay too long, found a nice flat area just below the summit to have a quick lunch and found ourselves on the way back down the mountain. Overall it was a great trail!
