Reminds me of a baby Flat Iron. Smooth sailing of an upward stair climb for the first 1.2mi. Once you hit the last .4 miles you are rock climbing. Nevertheless, the maintenance of the trail is spectacular and the ability to have rocks east to grab  makes for a doable hike.
