Steep switchbacks from the word “go”! No warming up on this guy, you start ascending straight out of the parking lot.
The pine forest provided nice cover from the sun and the trail was very well maintained as you’d expect being part of the PCT.
Really gorgeous views off the top and the final ascent after the switchbacks was breathtaking as well.
All-in-all a hike I would happily do again.
It was the 6th and final summit for Netty and I. Amy is now 4 down and 2 to go!
Celebrated completion of the challenge with a nice brew and food at Wrightwood Brew Co.
