DO NOT hike this in November!!! The trail was almost impossible to find towards the top in the snow, and we ended up summiting the wrong way. The first time we lost the trail, we had to use AllTrails to find our place again. I think this trail is more mileage than noted (plus we added some from getting lost). It was an INCREDIBLE view of Mt Shasta at the top, but the last ~1 mile was scary because we were basically just scaling up the mountain with no guidance.
