The weather was absolutely perfect – a bluebird day I think they call it? We enjoyed the windyness of the Az Glenn Loops and the slow burn of it – we kept wondering when we would start going up in elevation but once we got to Conejo Trail that became very clear, haha. The rocks were crumbly and the bugs were sure our in some spots but wow what fantastic views and it was cool to see the leaves of some of the trees changing. Don’t get to see that fall change much in SoCal! It was supperrrrr windy at the top as one of the folks we passed on the trail said “blow your hat off” type wind. We enjoyed taking in the beautiful views you could see clear out to the Ocean. We did Fire Rd on the way down and couldn’t believe how fast we descended. LOVED this hike!
