Another perfect day sharing the trail with hundreds of hikers participating in the 2023 Climb for Heroes. Other than windy conditions, which brought the wind chill temps down, today on Mount Baldy was filled with clear blue skies and happy hikers. That you to everyone who participated in the event. Thank you to the Heroes Project for hosting this event once again and congratulations on the 10-year anniversary of the Climb for Heroes. Most importantly thank you to all of the veterans who served and literally gave a part of themselves so that we could have this opportunity to be free and to support them in kind. No better way to spend my veteran's day!!

On a personal note, today marked my 50th peak climbed in 2023, from multiple six pack of peaks challenges. Not sure yet if this will be my last peak for the year, but I'm certainly ready to start in on the 2023 challenges.
