Did this one in October and it turned out really well. The trailhead at the bottom was full of deer who were making their way through the camping area while we got ready. They exhibited zero fear of humans. Pretty cool. We went off the reservation a bit and took the Azalea Glen loop to start the hike. If you've not tried this trail I urge you to try it. You'll join up up with the trail/road to the summit about half a mile from the top. When we got to the top there was no cool daddy sign to pose with but the views do not disappoint. Got some pics and returned via the normal route down the access road. Total distance was 7.75 miles and we were able to finish in 3 hours.
