A very long and arduous hike! Just when you think you can't anymore, you still have to keep going! I couldn't believe my eyes as I turned a corner to finally see the ridge you must cross up and over to the summit! Took a nap on the summit and for the first time in a long time I saw many hikers doing the same. The hike itself is gorgeous and the weather was perfect. 12 hours 19 miles! Made it back to the car in darkness. Exhilarating! But being the highest peak in so cal please be advised it is not easy!
