Mission Peak – before the vandalism

Got an early start since MP gets very crowded,  especially on weekends. Perfect trail conditions and great views, as always, once the fog clears.

We were lucky to make this hike before the pole was cut by vandals later in 2023. The piece was found and the beloved landmark was restored by the park district about a month later.
