Rose peak hike

We started our hike at 8:30am. We would have started earlier but the park gate opens at 8am. I got my permits a day before by driving up the parks visitor center. In January the park was super green. The streams had water and it rained so we got to see a bit more water. Trails were well maintained. The signed that pointed to the direction of different trails were there and it helped us a lot. The weather started as Simi cloudy but turned in to a stored as got to the summit. The next 3 hours were on and off rain. We made it back to the car by 5pm.
