Flatiron Fell Flat

We had perfect sunny weather to begin our hike. The first few miles were fun and exciting, with varying degrees of difficulty. However, we eventually lost the actual trail, and as we continued our ascent we encountered treacherous sections that pushed us to – and even beyond – our limits. There were literally zero trail markers to keep us on track. Even on our decent, we took several wrong turns and ended up with a lot of scrapes and bruises and left this trail feeling defeated. Flatiron was a one-timer for me!
