I've hiked Mt. Saint Helena many times before — in the summer heat, the cool Fall, and even when it has snowed in the coldest of Winter, but, today was by far the windiest I had ever experienced it.
Started around 730ish, was the only car in the parking lot. I had the trail all to myself going up, but it was fogged out.
Once at the summit the sky began to break open and give gorgeous glimpses of the surrounding area below.
While descending it cleared up even more and the views were spectacular.
Got back to my car just before Noon and only saw about 7 other hikers coming up while on my way down.
