Very pretty hike, I love climbing threw manzanita and pines. You get all of that plus more up to Corte Madera. Was a very gloomy day so the peak views weren't top notch but it was still beautiful!
2nd part of the trail was a little overgrown but it wasn't bushwacking by any means. Weather was perfect, not to hot not to cold and a light breeze.
I arrived around 11am and got really lucky finding the last parking spot right next to the trailhead. The two turnouts by the trailhead where completely full. However, I still did not run into a lot of people for a Sunday. Wasn't too busy at all, a few groups of people here n there. I mostly had the place to myself.
My app said it took about 4 hours to complete the hike. I did pause at the top for lunch with view.
Enjoyed checking out a different area in san diego then im used too, was well worth it!
