For a “plan b” hike that I wasn't counting on that required hiking in snow than I wasn't expecting, this hike turned out to be a lot of fun. My cheap microspikes weren't quite up to the amount of snow I came across, but as I was planning to summit a very different peak where I wasn't expecting any snow I was lucky to have the microspikes with me. Anyways, this hike turned out to be a little more challenging and a lot more fun than I was expecting. A great day!
